These scientists gave up on science because of tight funding

Ian Glomski gave up his lab at the University of Virginia after he realized that he could only fund “safe” projects; now he’s starting a liquor distillery, Vitae Spirits. He quit his assistant professor job at the University of California, Davis, when the funding ran out, and today he runs a grocery store in Guinda, California.
