A cute new species of shrew has been discovered in the desert of Namibia. Though the little guy may look like a mouse, it shares more of its DNA with elephants, the Daily Mail reports. Dubbed Macroscelides micus, the mammal lives in an isolated region of southwest Africa, which is why researchers suspect it was barely found. The shrew has a miniature trunk and rust-colored hair and is described this week in the Journal of Mammalogy.
