Skoltech is an international graduate research-focused university that was founded by world-renowned scientists in partnership with MIT. Skoltech's curriculum focuses on technology and innovation, offering graduate programs in 10 technological disciplines. Students receive rigorous theoretical and practical training, design their own research projects, participate in internships and academic mobility programs in English. The faculty is comprised of world-renowned researchers with international accreditation and achievements. Skoltech ranks in the top 100 young universities according to the Nature Index. In 2019 Skoltech won the Prix Versailles Campuses Award for its campus architecture.

Each program consists of several required courses and a variety of recommended electives to allow students to customize studies. All studies are backed by essential entrepreneurship training, allowing students to not only have the theoretical knowledge, but also the practical skills to apply what they learned in research organizations, corporate jobs and in the startup world.

About Skoltech:

Skoltech hosts 25+ research laboratories, some of which cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Students participate in research alongside their professors, who are also active researchers. Skoltech students have conducted cutting edge research in Antarctica, win international competitions in robotics, practice genome editing and study cybersports as a science using artificial intelligence. Skoltech also hosts HUAWEI laboratory, where students apply their skills in computer and data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence right on campus.

All PhD employees receive stipends starting from 14,000 EUR/year and full medical benefits.
