Before joining E&E in 2011, she spent 10 years at the Capitol Hill newspaper Roll Call where she worked as an investigative reporter writing about ethics, campaign finance and congressional wealth. Her work has also appeared in The Chronicle of Higher EducationThe Detroit News and on National Public Radio. She has appeared as an expert guest on outlets including C-SPAN, NPR and local television. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan.
