Alberto Cuadra
Alberto Cuadra joined the AAAS in July 2015 as the Managing Editor of Graphics for Science. He leads the team of designers that create the visuals for the weekly publication and website. Alberto comes from the Washington Post, were he worked as a graphics editor since 2010, authoring several award winning explanatory graphics, data visualizations, interactive graphics and animations. He holds a BA in Journalism (University of Navarra) and initiated his career as a reporter in several beats for the Spanish diary El Mundo and then redirected his interest towards visuals; first as a information graphics designers for the same publication and later on, for U.S. based outlets such as Reuters (1999-2004) and The Houston Chronicle (2004-2010).
