Waseda University is a destination for exceptional scientists from around the world. An example is Dr. Felix Scholz, who made his way to Tokyo in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic to join a renowned laboratory at Waseda. Professor Haruko Noguchi also brings an international sensibility to the university. Having spent almost a decade studying in the US, she understands the importance of a diverse and global workforce, and weaves this insight into her work in evidence-based health care policy and practise. Waseda is a major player in Japan’s Top Global University scheme to welcome more international talent to the country’s top universities and drive good science and health policy in Japan and around the globe.
