The Digital Archives of Science: 1880 – 1996
Science Classic provides access to the digitized full text archives of Science from its first issue in 1880 through 1996. Readers will have at their fingertips key articles in the history of science from the late 19th through the early 21st centuries, including research about the human genome, breast and colon cancer genes, and the Bose-Einstein condensate in physics.
Science Classic is the ideal complement to the online version of Science which provides access from 1997 to the current issue. The digital archives are fully integrated with the current content of Science which makes it easier to search the entire collection.
