Where can you find 75,000 snakes slithering together in a jumbled mass? The Narcisse Snake Dens of Manitoba, Canada, are home to the largest concentration of snakes in the world. The area can reach temperatures of about -45°C, but red-sided garter snakes are able to keep warm within limestone sinkholes that don’t get as cold. Although the sinkholes are about the size of a living room, they become dens for tens of thousands of the reptiles, National Geographic reports.
