One in 10 U.S. beaches isn't safe for swimming

Before you head out to catch some waves this summer, you may want to know which beaches are contaminated … with sewage. One in 10 recreational beaches in the U.S. isn’t fit for swimming, Discovery News reports. While Delaware is the best state to go for a swim, Ohio shorelines are the worst with 47 of its 63 beaches often failing to meet water quality standards.
