Lonely People Share Their Home Addresses on Facebook

Got any friends on Facebook who are constantly posting updates and complaining about their life? They’re probably lonely, the Daily Mail reports. Researchers studying the profiles of more than 600 women found that those who labeled themselves as “lonely” were more likely to post frequently, make their relationship status public, and share their home address. The researchers, who will publish their work in the July issue of Computers in Human Behavior, think that lonely people reveal personal information to make it easier for others to initiate contact with them.
