103-Year-Old Orca Spotted in the Northwest

The world’s oldest living killer whale was spotted cruising near Seattle this month. Born before the Titanic sank, the orca is 103 years old and named Granny, Seattlepi.com reports. Identified by a notch in her fin and a particular white mark on her back, Granny hangs out in a 25-member pod that’s usually seen near Washington state, the Strait of Georgia, or the San Juan and Southern Gulf islands.
