NASA just mic dropped a huge photo collection

NASA nerds beware. Your favorite space agency has just compiled 140,000 pictures, videos, and audio files for public perusal, Ars Technica reports. For years, NASA’s various field centers such as the Jet Propulsion Lab or the Johnson Space Center managed their media separately, but such divisions exist no more. The entire NASA Image and Video Library now lives in the cloud, filled with familiar favorites and rarely seen photos alike. Amongst the expected menagerie of stars and planets are more quirky images, such as floating hors d'oeuvres and a group of astronauts training at the Jungle Survival School in Panama in 1967. And although the collection is lacking in aliens and cute cat photos (come on, NASA!), this author’s favorite surprise is that apparently NASA really likes turtles.
