Cassini captures closest ever photo of Saturn’s moon Daphnis

Saturn is famous for its rings, but many moons also circle the planet. Now, NASA’s Cassini spacecraft has captured a stunning new image of the small moon Daphnis, as it carves its way through the chunks of rock and ice that make up Saturn’s rings, Live Science reports. The closest view of the moon ever shot, the picture captures detailed elements of the moon’s surface as well as ripples that its gravity creates in Saturn’s rings.
