Every week for 9 years, Science's NetWatch scoured the Internet for interesting scientific Web sites. Here you can look up reviews of the more than 1000 sites we highlighted between April 1998 and November 2007. The last regular NetWatch review was published on 2 November 2007, but occasional reviews will continue to appear in the Random Samples section.

Note: Science does not attempt to make sure old links are still working. Our apologies for dead links. If the site still exists but has changed URLs, you may be able to find it by searching with Yahoo or Google. (For example, if you think the site was about geochemistry and was at Harvard, try searching on "geochemistry" and "harvard.edu".) You may also be able to find it by going to the root URL of the site. (For example, if the dead URL ends in "edu/~smith/geochemistry", try linking to just "edu/~smith/"). Another option is to use the Internet Archive Wayback Machine. If you still can't find it, the site may no longer exist.
