Minimum Information About a Microarray Experiment (MIAME) -- Core standard-setting workgroup for microarray data

Microarray Gene Expression Markup Language (MAGE-ML) -- Effort to standardize an XML schema for describing microarray data, to facilitate data exchange between different data systems
