Like many of her neighbors in Guoton village in China's Henan Province, Ding Yuerong became infected with HIV after she sold blood. Last April, Ding says she was lying in bed all day and had dropped to 51 kilograms. "I was so thin I was not like a human being," says Ding. But that month, she started to take anti-HIV drugs. "Look, I'm chubby now!" says Ding, bragging that she weighs 62 kilos. |
