Breeding habitat: Plant-held water reservoirs, such as this empty cacao husk, and human-made containers.
Feeding: Various mammals, including rabbits, mice, and humans.
Diseases: May transmit several viruses, including Venezuelan equine encephalitis and St. Louis encephalitis.
