Advances in computational psychophysiology

Computational psychophysi­ology is an interdisciplinary field that employs methods from the disciplines of psychology, physiology, neuroscience, computer science, mathematics, and physics to investigate human behavior. Modern technologies, such as positron emission tomography and functional magnetic resonance imaging, now enable researchers to look inside the brain with unprecedented clarity and are facilitating a better understanding of neurological disorders and neurodegenera­tive diseases.
