Re: Thank You for the Influenza Articles

I want to thank the editors of Science magazine for providing articles about influenza. I am only a layman and most of the science is beyond my understanding. It is important to share information with the public and medical professionals. Publications like Science, Nature, NEJM, Journal of Virology and Chest are often great sources of education.

The information from the WHO and many articles in PubMed are not available to the public. This prevents our ability to learn and apply the knowledge to protect our health.

As a parent I am trying to learn all I can to protect my family. The WHO, Dept of HHS and the CDC are not providing people with the information they need to treat this disease at home without anti-virals and vaccines. We must prepare for that possibility.
