Re: Christianity and Science - Shared Goals?

It is not the goal of Christianity to incorporate moderate ideas into the faith. It is the goal of Christianity to discover the truth. Is that not the same goal of science? The discovery of truth does reconcile modern science with Christianity; we do not need to seek "stories" that do so. Science does not search for a compromise. Why should Christianity? If both are earnestly seeking what is true, then both should arrive at the same conclusion.
