ASTRONOMY: Alien Planetary System Looks a Lot Like Home

After finding nearly 250 alien-looking extrasolar planets, astronomers using a powerful new observing technique report in Science this week (p. 927) that they have spotted a planetary system--a star and two giant planets--that bears a striking resemblance to our own solar system.
