Middle-Earth Denizens Mob the Milky Way

SEATTLE, WASHINGTON--Astronomers at the 209th Meeting of the American Astronomical Society, held here from 5 to 10 January, reported the discovery of seven previously unknown dwarf galaxies surrounding the Milky Way, plus an eighth at the edge of the Milky Way's gravitational influence.
