2007 U.S. BUDGET:
Senate Panel Backs Integrated Ocean Observation System

Last week, a Senate spending panel added $70 million to the Administration's budget request for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to start up the Integrated Ocean Observation System.
