An Antibody Paradox, Resolved

Martin Prlic and Michael J. Bevan

The immune effect of a cytokine bound to an antibody is paradoxically much stronger than that of the cytokine alone, suggesting a way to lower therapeutic doses and thereby reduce side effects.
