Cancer Institute Director Tapped for FDA

The National Cancer Institute will be getting a new leader following the nomination last week of its controversial director, Andrew von Eschenbach, to head the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. As Science went to press, federal officials said von Eschenbach would step down "soon." (Read more.)
