At Last, a Supportive Parent for Saturn's Youngest Ring

Cassini scientists have decided that what may be geyserlike venting at a newly found hot spot near the south pole of Saturn's moon Enceladus is launching ice particles into the enveloping E ring, and in sufficient quantities to sustain it.
