ASTRONOMY:
Second Failure Cripples Suzaku Satellite

TOKYO--The primary instrument aboard Suzaku, a joint U.S.-Japanese satellite looking into stellar evolution and black holes, has failed. It's a crushing blow for astronomers, who suffered the loss of the satellite's predecessor in 2000 shortly after launch.
