North Korea Collaborates to Fight Bird Flu

World health officials are encouraged by the confirmation earlier this week that an outbreak of avian influenza in North Korea was not due to the dreaded H5N1 subtype, as well as that isolated country's willingness to cooperate with global animal and human health surveillance efforts.
