Researchers Blast U.S. Bioethics Panel Shuffle

In what appears to be a strikingly ill-timed move, the White House last week replaced two members of its Council on Bioethics with moral conservatives--just as the president's science adviser was rebutting charges of political bias (see story on p. 1446).
