CLIMATE CHANGE:
A Way to Make CO2 Go Away: Deep-Six It

While climate experts try to get a better fix on the carbon cycle, some engineers are taking what they view as the obvious next step: devising schemes for funneling excess CO2 into the deep ocean, unminable coal seams, abandoned oil fields, and isolated aquifers. One idea now leading the pack is to pipe CO2 waste from power plants to the bottom of the sea.
