EMERGING DISEASES:
Europe's First High-Security Pathogens Lab

LYONS--Later this year, a new $8 million high-containment lab will open on the site of the former Pasteur Institute here to study some of the world's most deadly pathogens. It will be Europe's first full-size, maximum-containment facility and one of just a handful of such labs in the world.
