Gregg Easterbrook

Charles Townes, who in 1964 shared with two Russian researchers the Nobel Prize for the invention of the laser, is a devout, though "non-doctrinaire" believer. He holds that science and religion are entering a cycle of reconciliation, as researchers find themselves up against seemingly unanswerable questions.
