Clinton Calls for 'Human Values' in Science

Besides announcing an AIDS vaccine initiative in his commencement address last week at Morgan State University in Baltimore, President Clinton presented a broad view of the promises and pitfalls of science. Human rights and values and the good of society should guide the application of research, especially cloning and the new genetic technologies, he said.
