PARIS--The Bernard Gregory Association is devoted to finding jobs for young scientists in industry. It maintains a steady flow of résumés each year between its Paris offices and the roughly 100 companies that help support it, and runs job-recruitment pages on its Internet Web site. Although created in the 1970s, the past few years have seen something of a boom in its activities as public money for hiring scientists has become ever more scarce.
