San Antonio--Two new planets have been detected orbiting other stars, in the Big Dipper and the constellation Virgo. They are attracting intense interest because they look more like the planets in our own solar system than the one other extrasolar planet detected so far, which practically skims the surface of its parent star. The new planets are both giants, several times more massive than Jupiter, but they orbit at seemly distances and one may even have a temperate climate.
