The trouble-plagued Galileo spacecraft, due to reach Jupiter in December, hit another glitch when a data-storage tape stuck. Engineers have managed to free it, and they hope they can prevent a recurrence. If not, the spacecraft may not be able to store and transmit important data, including some images of the planet and its moons.
