IMPACT CRATERING:
A Big Splat in the Asteroid Belt Doomed Earth's Dinosaurs

A chance encounter between two huge chunks of rock in the asteroid belt reached out across 100 million years and 200 million kilometers to snuff out 90% of Earth's marine species, as well as the dinosaurs, 65 million years ago, according to a new analysis.
