Three Methods Add Up to One New Way to Genetically Engineer Fruit Flies

A paper published online by Science this week (www.sciencemag.org/cgi/content/abstract/1134426) describes a powerful new way of making transgenic fruit flies, one that will likely make it easier to study fly genes that were previously too large to work with and to compare the behavior of similar genes belonging to different fly species.
