GENETIC TESTING:
U.K. Embryos May Be Screened for Cancer Risk

CAMBRIDGE, U.K.--In vitro fertilization patients will be able to use genetic testing to avoid having children with mutations in genes such as BRCA1 and BRCA2 that raise cancer risks, the U.K. Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority ruled last week. (Read more.)
