Thomas Butler Loses Appeal, Vows to Fight On

Last week, a three-judge panel on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in New Orleans unanimously upheld Texas physician and microbiologist Thomas Butler's conviction and 2-year prison sentence for illegally shipping bacteria to Tanzania and defrauding his former employer.
