Forty-Four Researchers Broke NIH Consulting Rules

An internal review of 81 National Institutes of Health researchers who consulted for industry since 1999 has found that 44 did not follow NIH ethics rules for such activities; nine cases are serious enough to be investigated for possible criminal misdeeds.
