Decoding Calcium Signaling

Monte M. Winslow and Gerald R. Crabtree

Calcium ions are crucial second-messenger molecules and are particularly important during T cell development and activation. In their Perspective, Winslow and Crabtree discuss the identification of two ion channels that are key regulators of the calcium response during activation of T cells (Badou et al. and Launay et al.).
