In an upcoming paper in Astronomy & Astrophysics, a team of European planet hunters will describe two new massive extrasolar planets that race around their mother stars in less than 2 days, just a few million kilometers above the stellar surface--only a fraction of the distance at which Mercury orbits the sun.
