Enhanced: The p75 NGF Receptor Exposed

Niccoló Zampieri and Moses V. Chao

Neurotrophins such as nerve growth factor (NGF) are secreted growth factors that are important for neuronal survival and plasticity. In their Perspective, Zampieri and Chao discuss a new study (He and Garcia) that highlights some unusual features about the binding of NGF to the p75 receptor.
