Erdös's Hard-to-Win Prizes Still Draw Bounty Hunters

The 1996 death of premier number theorist Paul Erdös has slowed, but not stopped, his publication rate: Over the past 5 years, journals have published some 62 new papers bearing his name. And Erdös is still guiding mathematical research with the problems he left behind, both through their subtlety and importance and through the cash prizes he offered for their solutions, which are still being awarded.
