Biochemist Wages Online War Against Ethical Lapses

BEIJING--A Chinese biochemist working in the United States has launched an investigation into the validity of some questionable scientific claims made in the advertising of some Chinese products--and the environment that discourages knowledgeable scientists in China from challenging the claims. He's hoping that a Web site he set up last year will raise the level of debate in China on questionable practices by academics.
