Wiring Up the Island State

The island state of Singapore has established a nationwide broadband network in an effort to take advantage of the revolution in information technology to promote economic growth and revitalize telecommunications networks. This policy forum explores the technologies constituting the network, the lessons learned, the challenges ahead, and the implications for science and business.
