Shanghai--In the past few years, Chinese researchers have been establishing fruitful connections with colleagues abroad. Such collaborations can provide much-needed funds and equipment, international exposure, and more access to publishing in the top journals. For overseas collaborators, they can provide partnerships with topflight scientists and access to a unique research environment.
