Dielectrophoresis of Macromolecules: Determination of the Diffusion Constant of Poly-ggr-Benzyl-L-Glutamate

The translational diffusion constant of poly-ggr-benzyl-L-glutamate in ethylene dichloride was measured by dielectrophoresis. The method is rapid, precise to about ± 5 percent, and yields values in good agreement with those obtained by standard methods.
