Amoebic Meningoencephalitis: Axenic Culture of Naegleria

A medium consisting of 2 percent Bacto-Casitone (Difco) and 10 percent fresh horse serum in distilled water ensures axenic growth of two pathogenic isolates of Naegleria species.
